Sādhanā Shṛṅkhalā was conceived as a part of the 300 years tercentenary celebrations. It was a devotional offering to the Math and the Guru Paramparā, by Chitrāpur Sāraswat-s all over the globe.
Thanks to the efforts by Chitrāpur Sāraswat-s in the US, a postal stamp has been released to commemorate the Tercentenary year of Shrī Chitrāpur Mat̲h̲. The release of stamp coincided with the culmination of the historic Guru Jyotī Pada Yātrā.
The Anugraha of HH Parijn͂ānāshram Swāmījī III flowed in abundance strengthening devotion and love in every heart – on the 7th of February 2008 - A day that will surely be recorded as a beautiful and extremely significant day in the history of the Chitrāpur Sāraswat-s.
The 13th, 14th & 15th of February 2008 will go down in the annals of the Chitrāpur Sāraswat Samāja as golden days, when unparalleled historical moments were born. An event that would require a Herculean effort from as many of the Sāraswat-s as possible, it was assigned to the BeṅgaĪūru Sabhā under the able guidance of the convenor of the Tercentenary Commemoration Committee, Lt. Gen. Prakāsh Gokarṇ mām from Mumbaī. The BeṅgaĪūru Sabhā formed a team headed by N. Jayavanth Rāo Mām (Vice President, Standing Committee) and Vivekānand Basrūr Mām (President, BeṅgaĪūru Local Sabhā) that quickly sprang into action.
